" We have been extremely happy with our WhisperRoom. The assembly went very well. With the exception of hanging the door, I was able to perform the assembly myself. My biggest worry was the space the booth was going in - a very tight attic space with sloped ceilings on either side. Because I wanted the vent wall under the slope to maximize space, I attached the vent units to the wall before moving it into place and was able to place them just inches from the wall.

Because of the layout of the attic, the door and the window are opposite each other on the booth - not the optimal situation, but some experimentation with the acoustic material enabled us to achieve a good sound. In addition to recording audio books, we also use the WhisperRoom to record auditions for my wife who is a voiceover actress.

Even though we live close to a busy avenue and are sometimes in an airport flight path, we've had no retakes due to outside sound. "
