CASTER PLATES ( CP )

Although the primary function of this component is mobility,
it also provides a substantial amount of downward noise control. Made of the
same material as a standard floor component, it provides an additional 3.2 lbs /
sqft of mass in the downward direction, as well as, a four inch air buffer below
the WhisperRoom. In addition, the casters are made of steel and have soft rubber
wheels, which act as vibration isolators.
Caster plates for larger WhisperRooms are formed by connecting multiple
components of manageable weight and size. The number of casters depends on the
model. Casters with brakes are provided for the corners. This component is
highly recommended for applications where low end, structurally transmitted
noise is a problem.
NOTE:
This option adds five (5) inches to the overall height of a unit and can be
installed on STANDARD or ENHANCED units at any time.
