The prefabricated acoustical enclosures manufactured by WhisperRoom™ present a handsome and professional appearance. All of the interior and exterior components, including the door, are made with 3/4" MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and are completely covered with an attractive yet durable, charcoal gray, cloth material.

Auralex® Interior Foam Sheets Provide Sound Absorbtion Control
All WhisperRooms come standard with Auralex® acoustical studio foam sheets which are designed to be attached to interior wall surfaces and provide acoustic sound absorbtion. Our sound isolation enclosures are shipped with enough acoustical foam to cover about one-third of the interior for a moderately "live" environment. Additional foam can be purchased for applications where a more "dead" environment is needed. Non-permanent, Velcro® fasteners are used for attaching the foam which allows the interior acoustics of each unit to be tailored to accommodate specific client applications. Attach as much or as little as you need. Foam sheets are 2' x 4' and 2" thick, pyramid design and are available in charcoal or burgundy.
Door and Wall Windows Provide Increased Visibility
Window components are constructed with dual-paned 1/4" laminated safety glass with 1/4" air space in between the glass panels. Safety glass is used because of its superior noise reduction capabilities and its safety features. Installation of a window does not reduce the noise reduction capabilities of a WhisperRoom™, however; it will increase interior reflections. Provided as a basic feature, all sound booth models are manufactured with a 12" x 30" door window. Wall windows are an optional feature.
Assembly and Disassembly of WhisperRoom™ Sound Booths is Easy
The WhisperRoom™ is made up of multiple components, each designed to have a manageable weight and size. Due to the fact that the heaviest component weighs less than 115 lbs and iso booth assembly and disassembly can easily be performed by the client, routine configuration can be easily achieved to accommodate reorganization or changes in location.
